The Tripper in Royal Blue G10
A drop point camp and utility knife for canoe trippers, backcountry paddlers, and anyone who needs a capable tool from the put-in to the campsite.
Where the Guardian is built around rescue first, the Tripper is built around the full demands of a multi-day trip. The drop point blade handles camp chores, food prep, and precision work with more control and versatility than a blunt tip allows, while still being fully capable in a rescue situation when you need it. The 3.25" blade meets Maine IF&W regulations for whitewater guides straight out of the box.
The straight edge keeps things simple and sharp, easy to maintain in the field and effective across a wide range of tasks. G10 handle scales are rough-finished with the same topographic texture derived from the Bigelow Mountains in western Maine, our backyard, giving you a grip that holds in wet conditions. A single finger groove adds retention when it counts, and a lanyard hole gives you an extra security option on longer hauls.
The Kydex sheath is built for how guides actually rig their gear. Retention is tight enough to keep the knife secure in the most demanding scenarios, while multiple mounting holes and slots let you configure it wherever it works best, shoulder strap, lash tab, or elsewhere on your PFD. Pair it with our Lash Tab Clip (sold separately) for the most low-profile river knife setup on the market, held in place by a titanium clip, not the injection-molded plastic found on competing systems.
Built in small batches in the woods of Maine.
