The Guardian river knife is purpose built for whitewater raft guides, whitewater kayakers, swiftwater rescue technicians, canoe trippers, sea kayakers and anyone else participating in moving water scenarios. If there's rope and current involved you should always have a knife!

THE BUILD

The Guardian features a blunt safety tip for high stress environments and reduced puncture risk. This safety enhancement is also favorable when on moving watercraft. The edge consists of 1.5" of hand filed wide serrations for smooth rope cutting action. The remaining 1.5" of straight edge is ready to serve typical camp and guide chores. The blade is 3" overall which meets Maine IF&W regulations for whitewater guides.

The knife is constructed with indestructible G10 handle scales featuring our unique topo grip texture for superior grip even when wet. The handle is ergonomic and indexes easily. A single finger groove increases retention in the hand during high stress situations. Most importantly, the handle scales are ultra thin reducing bulk when worn on a PFD. Each knife handle has a lanyard hole.

The blade steel is high quality and professionally heat treated 440-C stainless steel. It requires little maintenance though (as with anything) the more you care for it the longer it will last you.

MOUNTING YOUR KNIFE

Our versatile sheath system can be mounted in a variety of ways. Fasten the sheath to any standard 1" PFD lash tab using the accessory lash tab clip (sold separately). Or, using paracord, zip ties or any other preferred method, you can easily fasten the sheath to a shoulder strap or safe location on your PFD in a variety of configurations by making use of the many attachment points.

Built to last.

Extraordinary Quality and craftsmanship.

I was looking for a fix blade knife for indoor/ outdoor purposes. A friend of mine had suggested Walker Knife Co. All have to say that I am more than pleased with the product I received. So far it has met all of my expectations. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are top notch. It’s a definite plus to be able to support a Maine business with Maine made products. Keep up the great work!

I love my tripper so much I had to buy another one when i saw theres a new color and update to the scales wity the topo design. The green with purple sheath is awesome, toxic avenger color scheme! The fit and finish is amazing on these knives. The retention on the sheath is perfect, and only comes out when you need it to. I use my knives hard as a WMNF trail maintainer, and these things hold up and hold an edge through everything I’ve thrown at it. I use it 25% as a river knife and 75% as a forrest EDC. River knives are awesome woods knives when you are still dealing with a lot of precipitation. I can go on and on but TLDR these are my absolute favorite fixed blades, hands down!

Hands down my favoritre knife in my collection. I truly use my knives as tools. Mostly for general work as a trail maintainer, but also for river and fishing. The tripper isnt just a river knife, but a master of all. It has great corrosion resistance, is light as hell, and holds a sharp edge very well. The build quality, fit and finish is phenomenal. Color schemes make you look dope while you’re at it. And you get a truly made in maine tool. I can’t rave about the tripper enough! Can’t wait to buy another on the next drop.

Best river knife in the game

This is the best river knife on the market. They were more than helpful in giving my knife custom serrations that I requested at no charge and when the knife arrived I was very impressed with the quality. The custom sheath works great. Last river knife you will ever buy and you won’t be disappointed.
